History

Global Learning for Sustainability (GLS) is a dynamic organization driven by the passion and energy of youth and young women. Established in 2015, GLS initially aimed to provide life skills education, but it has evolved into so much more. In 2018, GLS proudly obtained NGO status with charity recognition, solidifying its commitment to making a positive impact on the world.

GLS has undergone a remarkable transformation since its inception in 2015. What started as a program to provide life skills education has now become a powerful force for change. In 2018, GLS achieved NGO status with charity recognition, further cementing its dedication to creating a sustainable future.

With a strong focus on Sustainable Development Goals 4, 5, and 13, GLS has redefined its strategy to tackle the most pressing global challenges. Led by youth and young women, this organization is on a mission to empower a generation that can drive transformative change at all levels. By equipping young people, especially girls and young women, with global competencies, GLS aims to foster collaboration and address shared global issues.
